Facilities, Refreshments, the Shop and the Nursery
The Castle Marquee serves sandwiches, homemade soup and quiche using local ingredients wherever possible. The Castle Marquee also serves classic cakes, handmade shortbread, toasted teacakes, filter coffee and a range of teas and cold drinks plus some gluten-free options. Kentish ice-cream are on sale in The Castle Marquee and in the gift shop. Picnics are welcome.
Gift Shop and Nursery
The gift shop offers the glossy Lullingstone & World Garden Guidebook, postcards, brochures, Tom’s two books – The Cloud Garden & An Englishman’s Home, wooden bowls, special Lullingstone soap and more. The nursery stocks a wide selection of unusual plants supplied by Ivy Hatch Plant Supplies and of course some grown by Tom himself. There is also the Lullingstone World Garden seeds range.
Those with Disabilities
The World Garden is accessible by wheelchair or mobility scooter except for the polytunnels.
The ground floor of the House is accessible by wheelchair or mobility scooter but the first floor is not. There are 27 steps up to the first floor.
The Church is also accessible.
Wheelchairs are available upon request and there are concessions available for those with a disability.
